Why Do We Use Hemp Extract Distillate?
While you may have read that CBD isolates are purer than CBD distillates, this is only half the story. To better understand why we chose hemp extract distillate for OnlyPure™ CBD oil tinctures, let’s examine the difference between distillates and isolates.
CBD isolate is CBD in its purest form. It consists of nothing but CBD–isolated cannabidiol. Any other components typically found in the hemp plant have been removed, including terpenes, non-CBD cannabinoids like THC, and chlorophyll.
Hemp distillate, on the other hand, has more compounds than pure CBD. While THC has been diluted to under 0.3%, CBD distillate has all of the beneficial terpenes, vitamins, and other cannabinoids found in hemp. Because of the benefits of the whole plant, we have chosen CBD distillate to produce our CBD oil tinctures.
